Coal Country Comes to Colorado

Greetings from Boulder, Colorado where I am currently playing the Musician in Coal Country by Erik Jensen, Jessica Blank, and Steve Earle, directed by Jessica Robblee and produced by Mark Ragan, with the Boulder Ensemble Theater Company (BETC) from October 21-November 19 at the Dairy Arts Center. The houses have been packed and the cast and crew have been an absolute joy to work with as we bring this poignant, timely, powerful story to life.

The Salt Cracker Crazies at the Jalopy

The Salt Cracker Crazies sure had fun playing at the Jalopy Theatre’s Mid-Winter Jug and String Band Rendezvous. If you happen to have FB and want to check out the full evening, you can find it here. If you love the Jalopy as much as I do, you can also become a Jalopy subscriber to help keep traditional American music alive in NYC and also get access to all the shows, videos, music, and march from the Jalopy.

Coal Country is Coming Back!

Coal Country is coming back! That’s right, the Public Theater and Audible are teaming up to bring Jessica Blank, Erik Jensen, and Steve Earle’s powerful documentary play retelling events of the 2010 Upper Big Branch mining disaster over back to the stage at the Cherry Lane Theatre. I’m thrilled to be once again understudying Steve and acting as Assistant Music Director as the play finds a new life after COVID shut us down in March 2020.
